S1 Parents’\/Carers’ Evening In School on Wednesday 30 October – PEBS (Mrs Noone)<\/strong>
\nThe parent\/carer on-line booking system is open. Booking system closes at 11:55pm on Monday 28 October.<\/p>\n

MVP Mentors (Mr Farquharson)<\/strong>
\nCan all MVP mentors attend a short meeting in C8 at 13:30 on Tuesday. It is to look at groups and timings for the class sessions you are delivering. If you don’t turn up, you will just be placed in groups for this.<\/p>\n

First Aid Course (Mrs Hume)<\/strong>
\nAll young people who are doing the first aid course today should register period 1 and then go to the assembly hall. Remember the course will last until 3pm and you need to be available all day. There are no school dinners on a Friday now so you will need to bring lunch or get something from the dinner hall at morning break. You should wear school uniform for this course.<\/p>\n

School Show 2025 (Mr Wilkie)<\/strong>

\nAny pupils interested can let a member of Music and Drama know. Keep an eye out on the blue bulletin for a meeting date where you can get more information on the show and auditions.<\/p>\n

Remembrance Assemblies Musicians (Mrs Duckett)<\/strong>
\nPlease can all musicians involved in the Remembrance Assemblies please rehearse in the Music Dept every lunchtime this week. See Mrs Duckett for more info. Thanks!<\/p>\n

On Behalf of the Rights Ambassadors: Right of the Fortnight (Miss Young)<\/strong>
\nEvery two weeks we will focus on a different children’s right in the bulletin and across the school in different activities and assemblies. The first is Article 12: Respect for the Views of the Child. As a young person you have the right to have your voice heard. KHS prides itself on giving young people the right to have a say in what is going on in the school through forums, focus groups and various pupil led groups across the school. Did you know you can also have a say in Politics through your very own Scottish Youth Parliament representative.<\/p>\n

School Nursing Team<\/strong>
\nThe school nurse drop in service runs in Meeting Room 1 every Friday at break time. You can see them for all issues health related. No appointment necessary<\/p>\n

Kirkcaldy Youth Forum!<\/strong>
\nKirkcaldy is starting a Youth Forum! A Youth Forum is a group led by young people to voice what changes they would like to make within their community.\u00a0 Come along to our event and discuss your community with other young people, have a voice in decision making and also have some fun!

Rights Respecting Schools Group and Ambassadors (Miss Young)<\/strong>
\nCan all existing members and anyone keen to join come along to B14 and anyone who expressed interest in being an ambassador. The meeting will be about new projects coming up this year as well as discussing membership, badges and choice of meeting days. (feel free to bring lunch).<\/p>\n

Calm Colouring Club (Ms Geddes)<\/strong>
\nIf you are looking for a quiet space to enjoy your lunch and do a bit of colouring, then head along to A3 from 1:10pm every Monday lunchtime.<\/p>\n

S1-S6 Badminton (Mr Harrower)<\/strong>
\nS1-S6 Badminton in the Games Hall on a Monday from 3:30-4:15.<\/p>\n

S1-S6 Basketball (Mr Stewart)<\/strong>
\nBasketball for all year groups will be running on a Monday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.<\/p>\n

Japanese Club (Mrs Morris)<\/strong>
\nJapanese club will return on a Monday lunch time in C9 with Mrs Morris. Come along with your lunch and learn about the Japanese culture and language.<\/p>\n

S1 Football (Mr Geissler)<\/strong>
\nS1 boys football training after school Monday (3.30-4.15pm). Meet in the PE department.<\/p>\n
