Rights Respecting Schools Group and Ambassadors (Mrs Young)<\/strong>
\nThis group will be restarting next week starting with a first meeting today in B14 at 1:15 (feel free to bring lunch). Can all existing members and anyone keen to join come along and also anyone who expressed interest in being an ambassador. The meeting will be about new projects coming up this year as well as discussing membership, badges and choice of meeting days.<\/p>\n

Medicine, Veterinary Science or Dentistry Students (Mrs Kendrick)<\/strong>
\nCould all pupils applying to study Medicine, Veterinary Science or Dentistry, please come for a brief meeting today at 1.20 in the Oswald Guidance base next to Art.<\/p>\n

S6 Lift Off Session (Miss Nessel)<\/strong>
\nPlease be advised that ALL S6 who are planning on applying to University this year will have a introduction to UCAS session from Abertay University today, Period 6 in the Assembly Hall. This will also apply to the small number of S5s who intend to apply to Uni this year.<\/p>\n

S4 Construction and Hair & Beauty Courses (Mr Fulton)<\/strong>
\nCan all pupils who are attending college for these courses please attend a meeting on Tuesday P6 in the IT suite.<\/p>\n

School Netball (Mrs Little)<\/strong>
\nSchool netball resumes next week for all age groups, where you will have the opportunity to train on a weekly basis and compete in competitive matches against others schools. All school netball is FREE and there are no match fees.<\/p>\n

S1\/S2 will train on Tuesday night 3:30 – 4:15pm
\nS3 – S6 will train on Wednesday night 3:30 – 4:15pm<\/p>\n

S5\/S6 EMA Applications 2024\/25 (Mrs Cook)<\/strong>
\nEMA Applications Forms can now only be accessed and completed online at www.fife.gov.uk\/ema If successful an EMA Learning Agreement will be posted out to your home address. Please complete form and return to Mrs Cook in the school office.
\nIf you have applied and been approved for EMA, please bring your completed Learning Agreement to the school office. We cannot proceed with any payments until this has been done. If you have still to apply, please do this as soon as you can. Any applications received by Fife Council after the 4th October 2024 cannot be backdated and you will only be paid from the date the application is received. Please remember you also need to make a new application each academic year.<\/p>\n

Fife Council, Fitzgerald Trust Scheme \u2013 2024\/2025, School Pupils (Mrs McNab)<\/strong>
\nApplications are invited from SCHOOL PUPILS for awards from the funds of the above Trust Scheme in respect of the academic year 2024\/2025 (see information below for school leavers). Awards are available to assist pupils in continuing their education at school in fifth and sixth years. Applicants must be attending a secondary school in Kirkcaldy and must be resident within the former Burgh of Kirkcaldy at the time the award is made. LGBT+ Group (Dr Murray) \ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\u26a7\ufe0f\ud83c\udff3\ufe0f\u200d\ud83c\udf08<\/strong>
\nThe LGBT+ Group meets on Tuesday lunchtime in A4 (Dr Murray\u2019s room in Science). It is a social space open to EVERYONE whether you are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, any other identity, or an ally of the community. See Dr Murray for a pass if you want to come. Bring your lunch!<\/p>\n

Creative Well-being Club (PSO Team)<\/strong>
\nThere is a new opportunity open to pupils to join the Creative Well-being Club. The group will be creating and designing a new school poster to showcase the well-being indicators and what they are. This will run on Tuesday lunchtimes in the Inclusion Hub. There will be a house point incentive for participating.<\/p>\n

Enterprising Maths Club (Mr Jones & Ms Barclay)<\/strong>
\nAre you a maths whiz looking for a club where you can really challenge yourself? Join our Enterprising Maths Club and tackle mind-bending problems with other students. There’s even a chance to represent the school in maths competitions, so get involved!
