Scottish Cup (Supported Learning)<\/strong>
\nJoin the Scottish Cup after summer and come see me in meeting room 4 opposite reception at lunch time. If you’re in Supported Learning and would like to take part, come along to sign up!<\/p>\n

Dress Down Day (Dr Murray)<\/strong>
\nFriday is a dress-down-day in aid of charity. Donate \u00a31 in “Tutor”, or whatever you can afford. The usual rules apply – no football colours, and no inappropriate clothing.<\/p>\n

Career Opportunity (Mrs Dempsey)<\/strong>
\nAnyone in S6 who may be considering a career in Childcare or are looking to Volunteer to enhance their applications\/CV, please see Mrs Dempsey in Guidance as an opportunity has arisen at the local Brownies group on a Tuesday evening for a volunteer.<\/p>\n

S3 Jupiter Artland Trip (Miss Cobban)<\/strong>

\nTime: 9am-3:15pm
\nThere is an opportunity to visit Jupiter Artland (Edinburgh) and participate in a number of creative workshops. If you are interested in this trip, please see Miss Cobban in B28 to collect a permission form. There are only 14 spaces available so be quick!<\/p>\n

S5\/S6 EMA Applications 2024\/25 (Mrs Cook)<\/strong>
\nAny S5\/6 pupils who may be eligible for EMA can apply on the Fife Council website around the middle of July. If successful, an EMA Learning Agreement will be posted out to your home address. Please complete the form and return to Mrs Cook in the school office. Please note – if you were eligible last year you still have to re-apply.<\/p>\n

Fife Council, Fitzgerald Trust Scheme \u2013 2024\/2025, School Pupils (Mrs McNab)<\/strong>
\nApplications are invited from SCHOOL PUPILS for awards from the funds of the above Trust Scheme in respect of the academic year 2024\/2025 (see information below for school leavers). Awards are available to assist pupils in continuing their education at school in fifth and sixth years. Applicants must be attending a secondary school in Kirkcaldy and must be resident within the former Burgh of Kirkcaldy at the time the award is made. \nThere are currently lots of apprenticeship opportunities on the S4 and S5-S6 Year Group Teams pages including:<\/p>\n

\nEngineering Apprentices
\nGraduate Business Management Apprentices
\nGraduate Civil Engineering Apprentices<\/p>\n

These are fantastic, well-paid opportunities which very few pupils even apply for, so are more than worth an application. I will be regularly updating the Teams pages with job opportunities and apprenticeships, so please have a look or pop into C4 for a chat.<\/p>\n

\nWe present a weekly show on Kirkcaldy’s radio station, K107FM every Saturday morning. You could be involved, even if you’re never available on a Saturday! We meet every Friday in A4 (Dr Murray’s room in Science) to plan the show. Come along and bring your lunch! See Dr M for a lunch\/building pass.<\/p>\n
