Parents, and Carers of Kirkcaldy High School (Pack) Flier<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n

A very warm welcome from Parents and Carers of Kirkcaldy High.<\/p>\n

Let me introduce myself. My name is Laura Frew and I\u2019m the current Chair of PACK. We meet once per term to discuss issues relevant to what\u2019s going on in school.<\/p>\n

I\u2019d like to extend a welcome to all parents and carers who have S1 pupils entering our school, as well as those already attending KHS.<\/p>\n

Why should PACK interest you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

As parents I know we all want the best for our children, but have you considered how you can work with Kirkcaldy High to fully understand what goes on in the school, and how you can support your child to achieve their full potential?
\nFirst, let me assure you that you won\u2019t be pestered to join fundraising activities or lumbered with a time-consuming job. We\u2019d rather you come along and join our discussions. Are there any information sessions you might find interesting? Is there something that you just don\u2019t understand about exams or classes? Is there some feedback that you feel the school should have about an event they hosted, or do you have any questions about what is going on generally?<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need to commit to attending every meeting, but it would be great if you could just pop in to hear what is happening in school and be part of the discussions. Meetings are mostly held on-line and are quite informal. Dates and times for the meetings will be emailed out via groupcall and through Mr. McKay\u2019s weekly log, which is also posted on Twitter<\/a>, and Facebook<\/a> every Friday. I encourage you to take a few minutes to read Mr. McKay\u2019s weekly log as it\u2019s always interesting to find out what\u2019s going on in school.<\/p>\n
