The course is split into three main components;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performance &#8211; which looks at developing your technical and performance skills in three main styles: Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial. You will be assessed in one of these styles.<\/li>\n<li>Practical Activity &#8211; working on your choreography abilities, creating a dance for two other people and writing an essay to accompany this.<\/li>\n<li>Question Paper &#8211; this will assess your Evaluation of Technical &amp; Performance Skills, Knowledge &amp; Understanding of a Dance Style and Evaluation of a Professional Choreography.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Revision Materials <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sqa.org.uk\/pastpapers\/findpastpaper.htm?subject=Dance&amp;level=N5\">Dance Past Papers<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/khsphysicaleducation\/uploads\/sites\/12567\/2023\/10\/26144305\/National-5-Dance-exam-style-questions.docx\">Nat 5 Dance exam style questions<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Higher Dance<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Higher Dance goes into more depth whilst developing the whole performer.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performance &#8211; which looks at developing your technical and performance skills in three main styles: Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial.
