The Higher course is completed by S5 & S6 pupils. You can either pick Higher with Football or Higher with Netball.
Higher with Football – The practical activities you do for the year is football and badminton.
Higher with Netball – The practical activities you do for the year is netball and badminton.
Similar to National 5, you look at the 4 factors that can impact your performance and complete a training programme to improve your development needs. However, at Higher level you are expected to go into a lot more detail.
There is an 2.5 hour exam at the end of the year where you have to answer a question paper. Also at some point in the year you will be assessed in two Special Performance’s on activities of your choice. These two things combined makes your overall grade.
