Photography Mission Statement<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

Our photography courses are a creative space where respect, ambition, and community come together. We nurture each learner\u2019s unique voice through the lens, fostering a culture of mutual respect and artistic integrity. With ambition as our driving force, we challenge ourselves to grow technically and creatively, pushing boundaries and exploring new perspectives. Rooted in community, we collaborate, support, and inspire one another\u2014celebrating diversity, sharing stories, and capturing the world around us with empathy and purpose.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our photography pupils explore mainly digital SLR photography, studio lighting, use of models, planning and analysis. Pupils also experience painting with light. The aim is for pupils to have a varied and diverse range of experiences which they then focus, develop and refine.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Pupils are encouraged to seek out photographers that challenge and inspire them. Pupils are encouraged to be resilient and creative, to think for themselves and create personal and meaningful works.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The S3 Photography course invites learners to explore the world through a creative lens, developing both technical skills and personal expression. Rooted in the values of <\/span>creativity<\/span><\/b>, <\/span>understanding<\/span><\/b>, and <\/span>self-expression<\/span><\/b>, this course encourages students to see photography not just as a skill, but as a powerful form of visual storytelling.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
