{"id":44,"date":"2021-02-05T14:31:22","date_gmt":"2021-02-05T14:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/fifeps\/?page_id=44"},"modified":"2021-08-31T18:25:48","modified_gmt":"2021-08-31T17:25:48","slug":"term-holiday-and-closure-dates","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/kennowayprimaryandcommunityschool\/our-school\/term-holiday-and-closure-dates\/","title":{"rendered":"Support for Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Support for Learning (SfL)\u00a0is an integral part of our whole school approach to ensure that the learning needs of all our children are met.<\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Mrs J.Cation and Mrs S.Thomson are our SfL teachers who work alongside class teachers and management in helping every child reach his\/her maximum potential.<\/p>\n<p>The role of SfL includes challenging the more able as well as supporting those children who have difficulties in school at some stage, often short term.\u00a0We also address\u00a0the smaller number of children who require additional help throughout their schooling to make best progress.<\/p>\n<p>SfL staff are involved in providing preventative measures through early intervention, as well as providing support in raising attainment and promoting achievement across the ability range.<\/p>\n<p>SfL staff can participate in parent interviews but appointments can be arranged at any time throughout the session to discuss queries or concerns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Support for Learning (SfL)\u00a0is an integral part of our whole school approach to ensure that the learning needs of all our children are met.
