The service will enhance learning and lifelong opportunities for pupils and develop capacity within mainstream schools.<\/p>\n<p>Support can be in the form of inreach where pupils access the support centre or outreach where pupils are supported within their class in their mainstream school.<\/p>\n<p>Individual support packages are designed with children\u00a0and focus on\u00a0literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing so they can begin to overcome their individual difficulties in order to better access mainstream teaching and learning.<\/p>\n<p>Our aim is to provide learning opportunties and experiences where children can work on:\u00a0 resilience, building and maintaining positive relationships, anger management, building confidence, teamwork, self-regulation, problem-solving, risk assessment, solution-focussed approaches and restorative approaches.<\/p>\n<p>Our alternative curriculum includes a soft start with breakfast, restorative meetings and core curricular activities.\u00a0 We also\u00a0promote active learning, collaborative learning\u00a0and enterprising approaches through the expressive arts.<\/p>\n<p>Children take part in outdoor education where they are supported and\u00a0encouraged to face\u00a0new challenges in a range of settings.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Staff<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"201\">Mrs Cara Jane Graham<\/td>\n<td width=\"201\">Principal Teacher<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"201\">Miss C Cooper<\/td>\n<td width=\"201\">Teacher<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"201\">Mrs J Robertson-Bruce<\/td>\n<td width=\"201\">Teacher<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"201\">Mrs L Scott<\/td>\n<td width=\"201\">Teacher<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"201\">Miss K Bond<\/td>\n<td width=\"201\">Pupil Support Assistant<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"201\">Mrs M Macrae<\/td>\n<td width=\"201\">Pupil Support Assistant<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"201\">Mrs A West<\/td>\n<td width=\"201\">Pupil Support Assistant<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>Transport<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Pupils are transported to and from the Centre by taxi (this is arranged by the Centre)<\/p>\n<p>Times &#8211; flexible packages are in place depending on the needs of the pupils and can include\u00a0morning or afternoon sessions\u00a0during normal school hours.\u00a0 Pupils will be expected to maintain contact with their mainstream school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our vision &#8211; Including all young people in learning The Pupil Support Service aims to support learning and inclusion for the most vulnerable pupils in Fife.
