Inzievar Primary is led by Mrs Janine Pirouet in a Joint Headship with Townhill Primary School and our Depute Head Teacher, Mrs\"\" Claire Martin.\u00a0 We also have three Principal Teachers: Mrs Louise Barr who has responsibility for Nursery, Additional Support Needs and our Primary 1,\u00a0 Mrs Sharon Friel-McKenzie who has responsibility for P2 -P3\/4 and Mr Alistair MacLeod who has responsibility for P4\/5-P7. We have 10 class teachers and a teacher for non-class contact. We also offer instrumental tuition from at primary 5. The very active nursery is staffed by one teacher, one lead officer, two senior early years officers and twenty three early years officers.<\/p>\r\n

We have high expectations for all of our pupils and we work closely with parents to provide the highest possible standards of education for all pupils. We consult regularly with parents, welcoming all valuable contributions, to ensure our school is continuously improving.<\/p>\r\n

Our parent council works closely with staff in promoting the school in the community and improving all aspects of school life. Our parents are very enthusiastic and are keen to be involved in activities to support their children, as well as fundraising activities.<\/p>\r\n

Inzievar Primary School and Nursery moved to a joint campus with Holy Name RC Primary School on 16th February 2006. It serves the villages of Oakley and Comrie in West Fife. The current roll in the school is 215 pupils with a further 81 children in the nursery classes.
