S3 Practical Cookery

Welcome to S3 Home Economics. Pupils have 1 double period and 2 single periods per week. During the double period, we work on our technical skills in practical cookery. During the single periods, pupils are encouraged to take part in a variety of activities to improve knowledge and understanding of:

  • Food Safety in Catering
  • Social, Moral & Ethical Issues
  • Understanding & Using Ingredients
  • Weighing and Measuring
