We aim to provide a safe and supportive environment and work together with other agencies to ensure that all children are safe and<br \/>\nprotected from harm. The school follows the Education and Children&#8217;s Services Child Protection Guidelines in all<br \/>\naspects of Child Protection and Care and Welfare. Our school has a child protection co-ordinator who will deal with all child protection issues and with whom any concerns can be discussed.<\/p>\n<h5 class=\"entry-title\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px\">Getting it Right for Every Child<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>\u2018The Executive\u2019s vision for Scotland\u2019s children is a Scotland in which every child matters, where every child regardless of his or her family background, has the best possible start in life. Every adult in Scotland has a role in ensuring all our children live safely and can reach their full potential.<br \/>\nParents, whether living with the child or not, have the most important role to play and other family members will<br \/>\ncontribute greatly to a child\u2019s wellbeing.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><em>Scottish Executive<\/em><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Roles within Holy Name RCPS<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Child Protection Co-ordinator \u2013 Donna Mulholland (HT)<\/li>\n<li>Depute Child Protection Co-ordinator \u2013 Joanna Leake (PT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>You may have a concern because of:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>a specific incident, something you see or hear or hear about<\/li>\n<li>a disclosure made by a child or young person or parent\/carer<\/li>\n<li>information from a third party<\/li>\n<li>adult behaviour\/circumstances that may place the child or young person at risk of harm<\/li>\n<li>child\/young person behaviour\/circumstances that may place the child or young person at risk of harm<\/li>\n<li>a culmination of minor concerns over a period of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>If you have any concerns relating to child protection you should do one of the following:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Make contact with the school and in the first instance ask to speak to the Child Protection Co-ordinator.
