aspects of a child’s health and wellbeing. We aim to provide a safe and supportive environment and work together with other agencies to ensure that all children are safe and
protected from harm. The school follows the Education and Children’s Services Child Protection Guidelines in all
aspects of Child Protection and Care and Welfare. Our school has a child protection co-ordinator who will deal with all child protection issues and with whom any concerns can be discussed.
Getting it Right for Every Child
‘The Executive’s vision for Scotland’s children is a Scotland in which every child matters, where every child regardless of his or her family background, has the best possible start in life. Every adult in Scotland has a role in ensuring all our children live safely and can reach their full potential.
Parents, whether living with the child or not, have the most important role to play and other family members will
contribute greatly to a child’s wellbeing.’
