Primary 6/7 have had a busy first term.
The Primary 7 pupils were at Ardroy in September and they had a brilliant time. Everyone challenged themselves, and as always, Jacob’s Ladder was very popular with everyone.
The pupils carried out lots of conservation work while in Ardory and learned about the surrounding environment. They also enjoyed covering their faces in blackberries and tasting the edible Sorrel leaves that grow in the area.
Team work was essential and they helped each other to make beds, serve dinner, clean up dishes and do lots of other chores around Ardroy. Well done everyone, you were amazing!
Primary 6/7 went on a visit to Dunfermline Library and Andrew Carnegie’s Birthplace.
At the Library we visited the Viking Exhibition and had a fantastic time making our very own shields. The pupils were able to dress up in some Viking outfits and take part in a quiz.
We visited the house that Andrew Carnegie was born in and learned lots about his life. The house was very small and there was no toilet or shower back then!
We have another busy term ahead. Well done Primary 6/7 you have all worked very hard!
