Nursery staff recognise that parents are children’s main educators in their earliest years and they continue to play a major role in their young child’s learning when they enter our nursery. Parents/grandparents/carers are welcome to spend time in the playrooms.

If you have an area of expertise you could share with us please let us know. In the past parents/carers have come into nursery for a variety of purposes:

• To talk about their job e.g. nurse, joiner, fire fighter, police officer.
• To demonstrate, share a skill and answer questions, for example about a new baby, a pet, a different culture, baking.

We also offer a wide variety of groups for parents to attend as part of our Family Learning Strategy.
