The ‘new’ Foulford Primary School was completed in 1976 and is semi-open plan in design. The school is adjacent to Beath High School, our associated Secondary School.
There are currently 11 classrooms within the main building and 2 classrooms within modular units at the rear of the building, a large Gym Hall that also doubles as a Dining Hall and 3 large General Purpose areas allowing for integrated work between classes.
Our 72/72 pupil nursery is located within two areas within the school grounds. One room is attached to the main building and the second smaller room is within a modular unit. The unit also has a parents room. Children have access to both rooms and have a shared outdoor space.
We utilise a restorative approach and self-regulation strategies to promote respect for all, through positive relationships. This is detailed in our ‘Positive Relationships Approach’.
We currently have a strong Parent Partnership, with parents and staff working together for the benefit of our school.
Our ‘open-door’ policy endeavours to ensure parents and visitors feel welcome at all times.
The School Office will be staffed Mon-Wed (08:30-16:30 Thur (08:30-16:00) and Friday (08:30-15:30) out with these times the answer machine will be in use.
