Assessors provide help, support and guidance with the qualification. They plan, mark and provide feedback on assessment evidence in a timely manner. They can be contacted during workshops or at any time via the digital portfolio (VQ Folio).
Employability Officers support with work placements, as well as providing guidance with future career choices.
Internal Verifiers (IV) carry out a sample of evidence and ensure work is assessed fairly and to the correct standards. They are responsible for the final sign off on evidence. Not all evidence is required to be sampled by the IV.
External Verifiers (EV) from SQA ensure that our Fife Council Assessment Centre is consistently maintaining national standards.
Work Placement Mentors provide guidance and support while on placement.
