Education Policy and Guidance – Being involved in Foundation Apprenticeships supports the school’s ambitions and contribution towards delivery of national education and skills policy initiatives.

Raising Attainment and Closing the Gap – Foundation Apprenticeships have a positive impact on the whole school attainment with typically 340-580 Insight tariff points, depending on the framework, in comparison to Higher Grades i.e. 204 Insight tariff points for Grade A.

 

• Recruitment for FA’s is ongoing throughout the year.   Notes of Interest can be sent to Employability Officers at any time.

• The Employability Team can attend and assist in bringing employer partners to career events, parents nights etc.

• The earlier notes of interest are received the better in order to support the team to plan to meet demand and resource appropriately.
