{"id":536,"date":"2024-11-14T15:03:24","date_gmt":"2024-11-14T15:03:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/ferryport\/?p=536"},"modified":"2024-11-14T15:03:24","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T15:03:24","slug":"week-beginning-11th-november-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/ferryport\/2024\/11\/14\/week-beginning-11th-november-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Week Beginning 11th November 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Monday<\/p>\n<p>The children got off \u00a0to a busy start in the block area creating an elaborate car garage which later became an airport, there was lots of teamwork &amp; negotiating going as they figured out how best to build the construction. \u00a0All the children took part in watching a short clip about Remembrance Day &amp; why we were poppy\u2019s, some of the children visited the war memorial to pay our respect &amp; placed a cross in the garden.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-552\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2024\/11\/14144721\/IMG_2882-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-540\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2024\/11\/14143835\/IMG_2769-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday<\/p>\n<p>The garden has been a popular choice today with lots of role play in the garden. \u00a0They used pipes &amp; other resources for their play at fire fighters, some children were being rescued from the building. The play continued to the hospital role playing doctors, nurses and even a chef who prepared meals for the patients.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-542\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2024\/11\/14144120\/IMG_2857-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-543\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2024\/11\/14144132\/IMG_1686-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wednesday<\/p>\n<p>This week is national anti bullying week, we had a group discussion about being kind &amp; have introduced our kindness tree back in nursery. This is where we place a leaf on the tree to celebrate &amp; recognise when one of our children has \u00a0been kind. The art area has been busy with some beautiful art work being produced.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-549\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2024\/11\/14144600\/IMG_3650-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-550\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2024\/11\/14144607\/IMG_2885-1-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thursday<\/p>\n<p>Today we went to gym where all the children took part in Kodaly, learning about rhythmic patterns this is a fun way to develop rhythm skills as well as many other benefits.
