Monday<\/strong><\/p>\n

This morning we had a visit from the photographer. We had individual photographs and some family photographs. \u00a0A group of children used the outdoors blocks to \u201cplay builders\u201d \ud83d\udc77 using the wheelbarrow to move the bricks \ud83e\uddf1 \u00a0to build a house. \u201c Indoor role play was \u201c families\u201d children demonstrated understanding of \u201cwashing their clothes, making and sharing food with their \u201cfamily\u201d

Tuesday<\/p>\n

Today we demonstrated our creativity in the art area making crowns. Some of our children created their own designs, shared ideas and used a variety of media to decorate our crowns. Most of the children used a wide and varied range of vocabulary whilst describing our crowns. Outdoors today some of our children were experimenting with different sized balls to see which ones would go the through the basket ball net – developing our estimation skills, gross motor skills and hand\/eye coordination.<\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/p>\n

This morning a group of children used their imagination to design and build Lego structures. \u00a0Lots of communication to explain the pieces they had chosen and reasoning for their selections. Some chose to use the \u201cwork in progress area to add more at another time.<\/p>\n

We all walked to the shore and explored the local environment. We splashed \u00a0in the rock pools and used our 3 points of contact rule to keep safe as we climbed on the rocks.<\/p>\n

Thursday<\/p>\n

This morning most of the children chose to dress up for Halloween \ud83c\udf83 Lots of discussions about the characters they chose and reasoning for their outfits. Some children chose to do Halloween themed craft activities. We carved some pumpkins \ud83c\udf83 and listened to \u00a0Halloween story.<\/p>\n

Friday<\/p>\n

This morning we had our family Bookbug session in The View at school \ud83d\udcda We had a spooky story \u00a0and lots of songs \ud83c\udfb5 and rhymes. \ud83d\udc7b \ud83d\udd77\ufe0f\ud83c\udf83\ud83d\udd77\ufe0f\ud83d\udcda\ud83e\uddd9\u200d\u2640\ufe0f<\/p>\n

A group of children used the block to \u201cbuild a hospital \u201c\ud83c\udfe5 \u201cit\u2019s where the Doctors \ud83e\udd7c work.\u201d Good communication between the group to decide on which blocks use and share their knowledge of the word of work. \u00a0\ud83d\udc69\u200d\u2695\ufe0f \ud83d\udc69\ud83c\udffd\u200d\u2695\ufe0f\ud83d\udc68\ud83c\udffe\u200d\u2695\ufe0f\ud83e\uddd1\u200d\u2695\ufe0f<\/p>\n
