Nursery Holidays<\/strong>\u00a0-The nursery will be\u00a0closed to term time children and\u00a0on Monday 1st\u00a0June<\/strong>\u00a0for the June\u00a0Bank Holiday. The nursery will\u00a0be\u00a0open as usual\u00a0to\u00a0our AM\u00a0children.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Parent Chats<\/strong>\u00a0– Sign-up sheets are now\u00a0available in nursery\u00a0for parents and carers to sign up for a 10\u2011minute chat with your child\u2019s keyworker to discuss your child\u2019s progress. These chats will\u00a0commence\u00a0the week beginning 1st<\/sup>\u00a0June 2026. Fundraiser \u2013<\/strong>A huge thank you to everyone who has supported our sponsored nursery rhyme time to help raise funds for the nursery.\u00a0The children recited 12 nursery rhymes in 3 minutes. We\u00a0are\u00a0still awaiting some sponsor money to be handed in so we will announce the total amount raised when all monies are in and counted.<\/p>\n Transition to School<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Our Transition visits\u00a0for our pre\u2011school\u00a0<\/strong>children are going well and all children\u00a0appear\u00a0to be\u00a0enjoying the different activities, tours of the school and meeting some new friends\u00a0who will also be going to\u00a0Tayport\u00a0School in\u00a0August.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Sports Day<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed a lovely, successful Sports Day in the church gardens. Thank you to all our parents, carers and extended family members who came along to support the children \u2013 it was wonderful to see such great encouragement.<\/p>\n Parent & Child Surveys<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Apologies for the delay in sending these out \u2013 they should be arriving in your inbox soon. We would really appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete them, as your feedback helps us continue to improve and support our families.<\/p>\n Book Bug<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Our next block of\u00a0Bookbug\u00a0sessions will\u00a0commence\u00a0on Friday 5th<\/sup>\u00a0June. Keep an eye on See Saw for further information.\u00a0Re times, venue etc.<\/p>\n Teddy Bears Picnic<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 We will be holding a Teddy Bears Picnic on Thursday 25th June for\u00a0all of\u00a0our children. Throughout the day, the children will enjoy a range of teddy bear themed activities. We would also like to invite parents and carers to join us at 2.00pm for a cuppa and a blether. Children are welcome to bring a\u00a0teddy to\u00a0our picnic \u2013 but not too big please.\u00a0\ud83e\uddf8<\/p>\n Staying Safe\u00a0In\u00a0The\u00a0Sun<\/strong>\u00a0– As the weather is beginning to get warmer and UV rays are becoming stronger, we would appreciate parents\/carers applying sun cream to their child before they arrive at nursery<\/strong>.
