Monday<\/p>\n

Today we have been busy role playing at the block area. \u00a0A house was made using a selection of different size blocks & some of the small world dolls. They spent time caring for the babies in the house feeding and caring for them. Outside the hoola hoops have been popular some of the children moved there bodies with them whilst others chose to roll them.<\/p>\n

Tuesday<\/p>\n

We have been excited by the colder \u00a0weather today & have been exploring with ice in the garden we have been looking at the ice through the magnifyed glass looking at the different patters. The ice also \u00a0sparked discussion about safety & how we keep ourselves safe. In the room we have being creating at the woodwork bench using hammers & vice. Some fantastic creations have been made where some of the children decided to extend their models by adding paint to them.<\/p>\n

Wednesday<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we have been looking at books all different styles of books. We have been reading some books in Scott,s which is very interesting as many of the words the children have never heard before. We have been looking at poems and have chosen a poem that we have been learning everyday. All of the children take part in singing at dancing at some point in the day.<\/p>\n

\nThursday<\/p>\n

Some children have been making their own squishy this involved cutting, gluing, sticking, they then added their artistic flare to the finished product. Lots of the children have been investigating floating and sinking uses a number of different materials. There was lots of predicting what would sink & what would float.<\/p>\n

Friday<\/p>\n

We have celebrated some birthdays this week which is always fun. Some of the children took part in cosmic yoga \ud83e\uddd8\u200d\u2640\ufe0f learning different moves and strengthening their bodies. We had a little bug in the nursery which we watched crawling about. In the garden we have been using the bikes as well as playing basketball.<\/p>\n
