We have been developing our counting, turn taking \u00a0and leadership skills whilst playing hide and seek in the garden.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1766\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/12\/18125417\/IMG_6444-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tuesday<\/p>\n<p>Today whilst being creative with the playdough some children used their creations\/characters to make up and tell their own stories . \u201cThis is a bear, he\u2019s tired! We need a bed, let\u2019s make a bed now\u201d\u2026\u2026\u2026..\ud83e\uddf8\ud83d\udecf\ufe0f. We had fun practising a variety of party games in readiness for our Christmas party. Outdoors we were developing our gross motor, turn taking, sharing skills whilst exploring the bikes and scooters. \u201cThis one\u2019s hard to pedal!\u201d \u201cI can go fast on this one!\u201d \u201cI like this bike the best!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1767\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/12\/18130136\/IMG_6447-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1771 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/12\/18131931\/IMG_6450-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wednesday<\/p>\n<p>Or Christmas stories very popular today with some children using the pictures in the book to retell the story whilst others were asking various stories to be read to them. We then discussed our favourites\/not so favourites and why!<br \/>\nThe dinosaurs were popular outdoors today with lots of children representing their ideas using role\/imaginative play . \u201cRoar! I\u2019m hungry, I need food!\u201d Creating opportunities to ask questions about what different dinosaurs eat, where they live etc. We then used a variety of resources to source this information.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1768\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/12\/18130539\/IMG_6445-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1772\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/12\/18132323\/IMG_6451-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Thursday<\/p>\n<p>Today we made some reindeer dust to take home for Christmas Eve. We used teaspoons to measure out the ingredients into a bag before giving the bag a shake to mix the ingredients.<br \/>\nWe have enjoyed exploring\/using the cameras outdoors today capturing various photos of the environment. The children were curious and asking about the different buttons\/functions on the camera.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1769\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/12\/18131020\/IMG_6433-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1770\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/12\/18131039\/IMG_6448-150x150.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Friday<\/p>\n<p>Today we had our Christmas Party \ud83c\udf85\ud83c\udf84\ud83c\udf89. We enjoyed some party food.
