{"id":1625,"date":"2025-10-17T14:11:51","date_gmt":"2025-10-17T13:11:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/ferryport\/?p=1625"},"modified":"2025-10-17T14:11:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T13:11:51","slug":"week-beginning-13-10-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/ferryport\/2025\/10\/17\/week-beginning-13-10-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Week beginning 13\/10\/2025."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This week it has been quiet in the nursery but that has not stopped us having fun and forming positive relationships by showing more understanding about sharing and taking turns in our play.\u00a0 We made playdough which involved us measuring out amounts , mixing things together and making sausages for each other which turned out great , we are learning about different food groups within the nursery! Some helped put together a short movie of the process of the cress seeds growing which helped develop our digital technology skills , we even tried some , it was delicious!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1629\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/10\/17135813\/IMG_12191-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All children were taking turns using the musical instruments to create their own music and some played twinkle twinkle on the xylophone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1631\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/10\/17140033\/IMG_55321-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some of us were exploring the painting table , experimenting by mixing up a variety of liquid paints to create new colours.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I am going to paint a rainbow&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I need purple for my rainbow&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>They represented their ideas using art and design by describing their pictures and learning to take turns.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-1633\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/public\/ferryport\/uploads\/sites\/14493\/2025\/10\/17140605\/IMG_E55301-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Outdoors some children explored their imagination and creativity with some adult support they created a &#8216;dinosaur home&#8217; with a variety of materials such as leaves , stones , twigs and a big wooden log.
