Tempest –<\/strong> Nursery Group photograph was taken this morning 4th<\/sup>\u00a0June.<\/p>\n Nursery sports –\u00a0<\/strong> tomorrow (5th June) 11am-12am in Queen St Church gardens weather permitting!\u00a0 Parents\/carers welcome to join us to spectate. We would welcome parent\/carer help to walk children along to the church.\u00a0 We hope to leave nursery at approx. 10.40am.<\/p>\n Parent Chats –<\/strong> As previously mentioned on See Saw\u00a0 our Parent Chats will be held week beginning 9th<\/sup>\u00a0June. Sign up sheets are now available, in our front hall, for you to sign up with your child’s keyworker. If these days\/dates don’t suit please speak to a member of staff to arrange a convenient time. Thank you.<\/p>\n Visits –<\/strong> We will be visiting the Community Garden on Friday 13th<\/sup> June. We aim to leave nursery at approx. 10.45am . Any parent\/carer help to walk us along to the garden would be much appreciated<\/p>\n Thank You –<\/strong> A huge well done to all our parents\/carers\/children as we now have a final total amount for our recent sponsored nursery rhyme time. We have raised an amazing \u00a3538 which will now be used to enhance your child’s nursery experience in a variety of ways. A huge thank you again to you all.<\/p>\n Transition Visits –<\/strong> Our pre school children continue to enjoy their transition visits to Tayport Primary\u00a0 engaging in a variety of different activities whilst becoming familiar with the different aspects of school life.<\/p>\n Learning Wall<\/strong> – Our learning wall interest continues to be\u00a0 all about \u2018Destinations\u2019 i.e Where you live, languages, holidays, transport, The World.\u00a0 Please feel free to share any photos, experiences with your family etc so we can add them to our learning wall. This allows your child to share their home experiences and opens up more questions for children to explore.<\/p>\n ELC Consultation<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 Every few years Fife Council wish to find out about the availability of Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) for families in our area.\u00a0 Please share your views.\u00a0 The ELC consultation is available online until Friday 6th June 2025.\u00a0\u00a0Click here to participate in ELC Consultation<\/a><\/p>\n Jun<\/span><\/b>k Modelling-\u00a0<\/span><\/b>The junk modelling is very popular and in high demand of recyclable materials. If you could help by bringing in items such as cardboard boxes, egg boxes, ribbon, wool etc. these would be greatly received\u2026 and who knows what creation these will turn into!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sickness\/Illness<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u2013 A gentle reminder that if your child is unwell (e.g. Vomiting & Diarrhoea) the guidelines are 48 hours exclusion from nursery from the last bout of sickness\/diarrhoea.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Lending Library & Activities \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/b>These continue to be housed in our front hall. These are changed regularly providing new activities for you to explore. Please remember to sign books\/activities in and out. Thank you!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Weather\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u2013 Could all parents please ensure their child is appropriately dressed for the weather, especially on Beach Days, and that all clothing is clearly named.\u00a0\u00a0We ask all children have a sun hat with them as we are getting nicer weather.<\/strong>\u00a0Thank you!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sunscreen<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 As the weather is getting nicer can you please ensure sunscreen has been applied to your child before coming to Nursery. We have a sun station set up where you can apply your child\u2019s sunscreen if required.<\/p>\n Borrowed Clothes \u2013\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Can parents please remember to return any clothes borrowed from nursery. We are running very low on boys trousers.
