The FACT team 2025\/26<\/strong><\/p>\n

The FACT team are a group of pupils from the primary 6 classes and primary seven classes.<\/p>\n

They were formally known as Junior Road Safety Officers but this was changed to Frankie\u2019s Active Campaigners Team.<\/p>\n

Frankie is Fife Council\u2019s School Travel Plan Mascot. They meet regularly with Mrs Kirkwood and Miss Seath and have undertaken a few projects this year including The Big Walk and Wheel and the Walk to School Week.<\/p>\n

Both were to encourage pupils to stay active when travelling to school by walking, cycling or scooting. The team also encourage safety around the school, for example, in and around the car park.<\/p>\n

They worked on the Fair Isle School Travel Plan with Mrs Bell last year. This was emailed to every parent and one of the aims was to minimise traffic congestion around the school.<\/p>\n

The FACT team often talk to the rest of the school, about events that are happening, in individual classes and at Assemblies. Last session, they were unlucky not to win the Road Safety Competition after writing and performing a very catchy rap!<\/span><\/p>\n

Our JLT have representatives from P1 to P7.\u00a0 We meet regularly to discuss the school.\u00a0 Each session we create a child friendly school improvement plan.\u00a0 We are all leaders.<\/p>\n

We have been rolling out the meta skills and circle framework this session.<\/p>\n
