{"id":460,"date":"2021-10-25T14:58:01","date_gmt":"2021-10-25T13:58:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/fairisleprimaryschool\/?page_id=460"},"modified":"2026-02-17T15:08:56","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T15:08:56","slug":"pupil-groups","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/fairisleprimaryschool\/pupils\/pupil-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"Pupil groups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The FACT team 2025\/26<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The FACT team are a group of pupils from the primary 6 classes and primary seven classes.<\/p>\n<p>They were formally known as Junior Road Safety Officers but this was changed to Frankie\u2019s Active Campaigners Team.<\/p>\n<p>Frankie is Fife Council\u2019s School Travel Plan Mascot. They meet regularly with Mrs Kirkwood and Miss Seath and have undertaken a few projects this year including The Big Walk and Wheel and the Walk to School Week.<\/p>\n<p>Both were to encourage pupils to stay active when travelling to school by walking, cycling or scooting. The team also encourage safety around the school, for example, in and around the car park.<\/p>\n<p>They worked on the Fair Isle School Travel Plan with Mrs Bell last year.
