In April 2016 we became the first school in the UK and only 3rd in wider Europe to achieve \u201cLighthouse Status\u201d through Steven Covey\u2019s \u201cThe Leader In Me\u201d the children\u2019s version of his highly acclaimed 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. This encourages leadership at all levels. In November 2022, through external scrutiny, we were re-certified with \u201cLighthouse Status\u201d.<\/p>\n
As a result of the sustainability of previous lottery work and the 7 habits, our mission statement remains as \u2018Opportunities for All – Developing Leaders One by One\u2019<\/strong>. \u00a0This Motto was chosen by our pupils, staff and parents and is embedded in the ethos of our school.
