Fair Isle Family Nurture Centre opened in April 2002 and expanded in August 2020. The Nurture Centre now has two buildings, one located at Fair Isle Road and the other at Appin Crescent.

The Family Nurture Centre offers term time, has 46 week and 49-week models operating across the two buildings as well as offering holiday places for the Kirkcaldy locality.

Appin Crescent has been fully operational since August 2023.

The models of nursery provision on offer are:

• Fair Isle FNC: 9 – 3pm, term time, Under 3s & N4/N5
• Fair Isle FNC: Holiday places for Kirkcaldy locality
• FI Appin Crescent: 4 hours 40 min am & pm, 49 weeks, Under 3’s & N4/N5 children
• FI Appin Crescent: MTWam & Wpm TF, 46 weeks for N4/N5 children
• FI Appin Crescent: 9-3, term time
