The pupils are extremely lucky with the outdoor space available at Elie Primary. The children have a few different areas of the playground (pictured below) to enjoy during break and lunchtime. During the winter months, we encourage children to bring a spare pair of shoes to allow them to continue to enjoy ‘The Grassy’.<\/p>\n

Our concrete playground spans right around the building, giving a huge amount of room for running around.<\/em><\/p>\n

‘The Oreo’<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our netball court is accessible during playtimes as well as being used for PE lessons.<\/em><\/p>\n

To the back of the school building, our grass area is full of fun things to keep everyone busy. Children can regularly be found organising a football game, hiding in the Willow Den or climbing on the Trim Trail.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sports Field<\/strong><\/p>\n

Across the lane from the school, our sports field is used for PE lessons and the biggest annual sporting competition around – Sports Day! We now have 2 full size football goals across on the field which are available for use by the public outside of school hours.<\/em><\/p>\n
