We use Kitbag throughout Dysart Primary School.

Wrapped in a colourful, soft cotton fabric cover and tied with a ribbon, Kitbag is a kit that helps children become more confident in talking about their feelings and thoughts in a safe and comfortable way. When it’s time to use Kitbag, we open it up to reveal pockets where different things are kept.

This unfolding action is like creating a safe space where children can share their thoughts and feelings. After the session, we put everything back in its place and fold up the wrap to keep that safe space separate from regular conversations. Kitbag is a useful resource for supporting your child’s emotional well-being at school.

A family kitbag session is being held on 18th May from 3.05pm -4pm.  If you are interested please book a place through the school office.
