{"id":66,"date":"2021-03-17T11:30:41","date_gmt":"2021-03-17T11:30:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/dalgetybayps\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2021-03-18T10:57:27","modified_gmt":"2021-03-18T10:57:27","slug":"aims-and-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/dalgetybayps\/nursery\/aims-and-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Aims and Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our nursery aims to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>provide a safe and stimulating environment in which children can feel happy and secure;<\/li>\n<li>encourage the emotional, social, physical, creative and intellectual development of children;<\/li>\n<li>promote the welfare of children;<\/li>\n<li>encourage positive attitudes to self and others, and develop confidence and self-esteem;<\/li>\n<li>create opportunities for play;<\/li>\n<li>encourage children to explore, appreciate and respect their environment;<\/li>\n<li>provide opportunities to simulate interest and imagination;<\/li>\n<li>extend children\u2019s abilities to communicate ideas and feelings in a variety of ways.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are currently evaluating the progress of our previous improvement priorities. We are using this information, and equally parental feedback , to set our priorities for next year. As a team, we have recognised the need to ascertain a yearly overview of events and share this with parents and families in the first few weeks in August.<\/p>\n<p>We would like to extend the invitation for any parents to join our Parent&#8217;s Group next session.
