We aim to have clear, effective and positive communication to achieve the best possible outcomes for our pupils and their parents\/carers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Monthly Update<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We send out a monthly Sway which provides an overview of what\u2019s been happening in school. It also includes news and \u00a0requests. We send this directly to parents and carers via email but it can also be viewed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/dairsieps\/ethos-life-of-the-school\/weekly-updates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"MainContent\">\n<div class=\"text-area\">\n<p><strong><u>SeeSaw<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SeeSaw is a secure online platform which we would use in Primary 1 to 4 to share learning activities and communicate learning with parents. Pupils upload shared learning and classroom based tasks to evidence their learning journey.<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Teams<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Pupils in Primaries 5 to 7 use Teams for shared learning and remote learning tasks.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>School Website<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The school website is in the process of being updated. The website will be a place where you can access up to date school information such as our School Improvement Plan, our end of session Standards and Quality report and other relevant information.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Group Call<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Group Call will also continue to be used to send information to parents. This means if you do not have access to social media platforms such as Facebook you will still receive all necessary information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Volunteering<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are always keen for parents and community members to share their skills here within the school.
