Internet Safety is an important part of keeping children safe at Dairsie Primary School. Internet Safety is taught through our Technologies and Health and Well-Being Curriculums. We also celebrate Internet Safety day once per year.<\/p>\n

We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with parents to ensure the Internet Safety message is consistent. It is important that parents speak to their children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online. As a parent or carer you play a key role in helping your child to stay safe online.<\/p>\n

Enabling pupils to take full advantage of technology and preparing them for the real world whilst providing a safe environment can be tricky. \u00a0In school, children can access the Internet safely due to monitoring and filtering controls put in place by Fife Council. \u00a0However, this only protects them while they are on school premises. Education around Internet Safety is the only way to ensure that, wherever they are, they know how to stay safe online.<\/p>\n
