Dairsie Primary is situated in the picturesque village of Dairsie, which is in North East Fife on the main road between St. Andrews and Cupar. On a clear day we enjoy fabulous views of the Lomond Hills and open fields. The current building was completed in 1970 but there has been a school on this site since 1868.

Learning at Dairsie is active, creative and meaningful. From outdoor adventures and STEM exploration to reading for pleasure and pupil-led assemblies, every experience is designed to build skills for life. Our curriculum is rooted in children’s rights and global citizenship, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, meta-skills and real-world learning.
Pupil voice is central to all we do. Learners help shape our school through leadership roles, social enterprise, and House activities that bring all ages together in shared purpose and fun. Together, we are building ‘our future in the making, one curious, kind and capable learner at a time.
