So far the team have jazzed up the local bus shelter with a Bookflix display to keep members of the public entertained whilst they wait for their bus.
They started a Book Fairy trail. One of the books turned up in Newport and has been put back into the community, hopefully someone will find it soon and pass it on again.
We have created a STEM a Story Snug which will provide a welcoming space for pupils and families to read together, then bring the story to life through STEM!
Our STEM club, recently read Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson, then created broomstick using K’NEX!

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded our Digital Schools Scotland accreditation.
Digital Schools Awards is a national awards scheme to promote, recognise and encourage a whole school approach to the use of digital technology in schools.
Led by Miss Smith, staff and pupils were able to demonstrate our excellence in the use of digital technology.
Our assessor noted that ‘It is clear that digital learning is well embedded in classroom practice. The use of digital tools for learning and teaching is fully integrated in the whole School Improvement Plan. Dairsie Primary School exude a strong sense of the value of the use of digital technologies in enhancing and supporting learning and teaching. The school is clearly committed to using digital technologies, in order to motivate and inspire its learners, with the aim of enabling them to make a significant contribution to our growing digital world, and successfully equipping them with essential skills for life and work.’
Well done Team Dairsie!
PROUD of who we are… PROUD of what we do… PROUD of our differences!
