THE HIGH SCHOOL TO WHICH YOUR CHILD WILL TRANSFER
On completion of primary education the normal arrangement is for children to transfer to the
catchment secondary school associated with their home address. However parents can make
a placing request to attend a secondary school other than the catchment school and further
information on how to do this is available in the booklet, Choosing a school – a guide for
parents, which is available online at www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2010/11/10093528/0 .
The process to enrol your child into their catchment high school will be done online in the same way as school applications are completed. The details are in the link and the system will go live at the end of November. P7 S1 Online Enrolment (1)
