Dear Parent/Carer

Welcome to Colinsburgh Primary School.

Our school sits at the heart of the small and welcoming village of Colinsburgh in the East Neuk of Fife —a friendly, supportive community that we are proud to be part of.

At Colinsburgh Primary School, we work in partnership with our children, parents/carers, staff, and our community to provide the highest possible standard of education. We are committed to ensuring every child is Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible and Included.

We offer children from P1 to P7 a warm, nurturing and inclusive school environment where everyone is known as an individual, valued for who they are, and encouraged to achieve their best. This is reflected in our vision: “Everybody Matters, Every Step Counts, Aiming High Together, Learning Every Day.”

Our curriculum provides a broad general education in line with Scotland’s Curriculum for Excellence, promoting skills for learning, life and work. We work closely with parents/carers and partners to support each child’s progress, wellbeing, confidence and self‑esteem.

If you are considering enrolling your child at Colinsburgh Primary and would like more information, please visit our website (link above), contact us on 01334 659455 or email colinsburghps.enquiries@fife.gov.uk.

We would be delighted to arrange a visit and show you what makes our school special.

Please enjoy our school website and if you have any questions or enquiries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes,

Ashley McBain

Headteacher
