Here at Ceres we are keen to celebrate the wider achievements of our children both in and outwith school. We have a ‘wall of achievement’ to display individual awards.
Pupils share their achievements at assemblies and in class. Certificates and house points are awarded to recognise effort, success and contribution.
We have a wide range of after school clubs running at various points throughout the year to encourage wider achievement. We are well supported n this by staff, Active Schools, community members and ex-pupils. Some examples are karate, football, rugby, multi-sports, hockey, running and dance.
Pupils also have many leadership opportunities which are recognised, including pupil council, junior road safety officers, Peer Mediators and Playground buddies.
We greatly appreciate the role our parents/carers and Active schools make in providing these opportunities.
