We will use our imagination to create stories inspired by different stimuli. We will also be working hard on developing our grammar skills, including verbs, adverbs, and other key elements of language. In reading, we will continue building fluency by developing reading strategies and using expression when reading aloud. We will also keep strengthening our blending strategies to support confident and successful readers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_dEUed5woNO_\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong><span id=\"text_V203ZMSe68_\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">Numeracy<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_q7Ued5goNO_\" dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"text_enPflonn634\" class=\"\">In numeracy, we will be focusing on multiplication and division, using a range of strategies such as repeated addition, grouping, and mental methods to build our understanding of the 4 times table. We will also explore fractions, including halves, thirds, and quarters, and develop a clear understanding of how they work. In addition, we will focus on data and analysis by learning how to gather and record information, as well as create and interpret simple bar graphs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_DSUed5QpNO_\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong><span id=\"text_EaFGHzLXs_5\" class=\"TextBodyEmph color_TextEmph\">IDL<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"paragraph_QLUed5ApNO_\" dir=\"ltr\"><span id=\"text_kaN6Y6z5JH_\" class=\"\">In IDL, we will be learning about the Stone Age. This will incorporate a range of areas, including Social Studies, Literacy, Expressive Arts, and Technologies, helping us to understand how the world has evolved over time. We will explore how people lived, the homes they built, the food they ate, and the tools they used. We will also have opportunities to be creative by designing and making models linked to our learning.
