Our nursery values are the same as our school values – Respect<\/strong>, Kindness<\/strong> and Curiosity<\/strong>. We hope through these values to foster a community of tolerance, care and growth mindset.\u00a0 Our nursery motto is \u2018Growing Together, Soaring to Success\u2019<\/strong>. The learning and\u00a0achievement of all children is valued and high aspirations and ambitions are actively promoted.<\/p>\r\n Carnegie Nursery is a custom built nursery which opened in 2011. The nursery provides Early Learning and Childcare to families from the Dunfermline area.<\/p>\r\n The nursery is open 39 weeks of the year and currently offers 1140 hours to each child enrolled in our nursery.<\/p>\r\n Carnegie nursery runs: The nursery has 2 rooms for 3-5 year olds (Butterfly and Ladybird). Both rooms are bright, welcoming and well maintained. There is access to a secure outdoor play provision which provides rich and challenging opportunities for the children. There is a shared snack and lunch area. The nursery has access to the school building including the use of the gym hall, Hub and classrooms, which supports transition.<\/p>\r\n In addition to this we regularly use the school building to accommodate parent groups, such as Bookbugs and Toddlers.<\/p>\r\n Throughout their time in nursery our children enjoy a variety of interesting activities which encourage and support them to learn through play.
