Sun Awareness

Carnegie is a ‘Sun Safe’ nursery.  Children should be wearing sun cream if the UV levels are at 3 or above, to keep their skin safe. Parents are asked to apply sun cream to their child prior to coming into nursery on sunny days. You will find bottles of sun cream at the front entrance for you to use. We would appreciate if you could also provide a bottle of sunscreen to be stored in nursery to allow staff to top up  your child’s sun cream as the day goes on.
