{"id":29,"date":"2021-03-25T11:33:27","date_gmt":"2021-03-25T11:33:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/carletonps\/?page_id=29"},"modified":"2024-08-30T22:16:39","modified_gmt":"2024-08-30T21:16:39","slug":"school-closure-arrangements-home-learning","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/fi\/carletonps\/pupils\/school-closure-arrangements-home-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"SeeSaw"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div class=\"text-area\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"text-area\">\n<h4>See Saw &#8211; Online Homework App<\/h4>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>This is the online system that we use for homework and to share our work and progress for parents to see.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>This is a secure system that only parents and carers have access to.<\/p>\n<p>If your child needs a new QR code to access their account &#8211; please call the school office to have one printed out to bring home.<\/p>\n<p>There are 2 different QR codes &#8211; one for homework and class access (the Student code), and the second one for families to see all of the children&#8217;s work in one place (the Family code).<\/p>\n<p>We recommend you keep the QR codes available, as they can be used multiple times to sign back in if needed.<\/p>\n<p>Seesaw is a communications app. However, it is <strong>NOT<\/strong> to be used for the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Absences<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Notifications of holidays or medical appointments<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Asking to collect your child early and\/or from a different location<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Asking the teacher for a meeting<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sharing sensitive\/private information regarding your child<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Teachers do not get notifications when you or your child uses the app. The above information will not be seen in time, resulting in confusion or worry for you and\/or your child.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you need to contact the school for the above reasons, it MUST be done through the school office only.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>See Saw &#8211; Online Homework App This is the online system that we use for homework and to share our work and progress for parents to see.
