The closing date for applications was March 15th 2026<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>If you have missed the online application process, please contact your catchment school by phone or email to enquire about what steps to take next.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Parents and carers enrolling their child(ren) for Primary P1 or for High School S1, or looking to request a place for their child(ren) at another school, which isn\u2019t their catchment school, for the 2026\/27 session can now do this quickly and easily online.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<header><\/header>\n<header><\/header>\n<header><\/header>\n<header><\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>Fife Council are using a new online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/services\/apply-for-it-online\/apply-for-a-school-place\"><strong>application form <\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to make things easier for parents and carers.<\/p>\n<p>Applications to your child\u2019s catchment school, should be completed by registering your child by completing the online form before the following deadlines to allow school staff to review the information:<\/p>\n<p><strong>P1 and S1 deadlines are both on 15th March, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P7 children currently enrolled in a Fife Council primary school who will move to their catchment secondary school in August 2026 will be moved automatically.<\/p>\n<p>If you would prefer to submit a placing request to an alternative Fife Council secondary school, you can submit your request through our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/services\/form-pages\/submit-a-placing-request-for-an-s1-place\" data-refno=\"300143\">Submit a placing request for an S1 place<\/a>\u00a0form.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the online P1 enrolment process parents\/carers will also be required to upload photos of verification documents in support of the application. These are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of your child\u2019s birth certificate. You can also\u00a0<strong>order a birth certificate<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/community-life2\/births,-deaths-and-marriages\/order-a-certificate\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>2 forms of proof that you live in the school\u2019s catchment area (for example, council tax notification form, utility bill or child tax credit form.) \u2013 If you don\u2019t have a paper bill, you can\u00a0<strong>download a copy of your council tax bill<\/strong>\u00a0from within your online account\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fife.gov.uk\/kb\/docs\/articles\/housing\/council-tax\">here<\/a>. \u00a0<\/strong><strong>The council tax notification must be your most recent bill,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>issued for 2025\/26. <\/strong><strong>The utility bill must not be more than 6 months old.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Online Enrolment for Primary P1 pupils and for Secondary S1 pupils in 2026\/2027 is now closed.
