These are roles proudly carried out by members of the P7 cohort.<\/p>\n<p>Our Houses are; Air, Earth, Fire and Water.<\/p>\n<p>Each week, and regularly throughout the school session, pupils support each other, as well as other members of their houses, by demonstrating our school values of <span style=\"color: #008000\">Respect, Resilience and Responsibility<\/span>.\u00a0 House points are awarded and the leading house for that week is celebrated at our reconnector sessions.\u00a0 At the end of each term the leading house&#8217;s success is recognised with a end-of-term treat.\u00a0 And who doesn&#8217;t love a treat to acknowledge success!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000\">ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Being a positive role-model to all pupils in the school in upholding Canmore school values of <span style=\"color: #008000\">RESPECT,<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008000\">RESILIENCE<\/span> &amp; <span style=\"color: #008000\">RESPONSIBILITY<\/span>. (Having a can\u2019<strong>do<\/strong>\u2019more, can\u2018<strong>be<\/strong>\u2019more attitude!)\u00a0 Modelling and encouraging the wearing of school uniform and respectful behaviour by all pupils in the school.<\/li>\n<li>Taking new pupils\/families\/visitors around the school and telling them about our school.<\/li>\n<li>Setting up for reconnector sessions with different groups of pupils.<\/li>\n<li>Helping at events in school (where allowed due to COVID restrictions), eg MacMillan Coffee morning, Big Breakfast, Sports Days, Charity events.<\/li>\n<li>Supervising Early Years pupils during wet breaks alongside Support Staff.<\/li>\n<li>Giving out additional House Points to pupils displaying Canmore school values.<\/li>\n<li>Planning\/Co\u2019ordinating Sports days for P1-3 &amp; P4-7 &amp; for Nursery\/P1 visits with Active Schools Co\u2019ordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting\/organising donations for Harvest Reconnector.<\/li>\n<li>Presenting at reconnectors for groups of children.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting younger pupils in class at set \u2018tutor\u2019 times.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting in setting up House Treats, Christmas parties, special events, etc\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Representing the school at different events in the community throughout the year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Canmore House Leadership Teams At Canmore, each pupil from P1 to P7 is placed into a &#8216;House&#8217;.\u00a0 Each house has its own House Captain, Vice-Captain and Ambassador.
