Primary 6 have been busy this term!<\/p>\n

As well as rehearsing for our end of term show, we have been developing our skills and knowledge in other areas. We have had a great time preparing All About Me information sheets for our new buddies and enjoyed the first session we had last week meeting them. We are looking forward to other planned opportunities before the summer to help them feel welcome and safe in our school.<\/p>\n

With Miss Munnoch, we explored photography and used our iPads to learn about different filters, angles and shots. We worked in groups and as individuals on mini projects using the environment around us. Please scan the QR code below to have a look at our work.

Along with the rest of the school, we participated in a fun day where we got to decide the learning activities that took place based on the contents and book allocated to our class. We had the book Super Nani and Captain Yaz. <\/em>As a class, we read the books and discussed the themes from the book. We then decided on the type of leaning we could engage in. We had some great ideas from making our own dolls, to researching the language Punjabi as well as creating a digital book review. We were very busy all morning and had some great fun! We developed our problem solving skills, our communication and collaboration skills as well as using our initiative.<\/p>\n
