Ready, Respect and Safe<\/h4>\n

\u201cRelationships are the answer, no matter what the question.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Every member of staff is here to do their very best for every child in our school. We aim to demonstrate our school values of ready, respect and safe each and every day at Bellyeoman. We recognise that relationships are pivotal to all we do in school.<\/p>\n

The United Nations Convention for Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the following nurturing principles are embedded in all aspects of school life.<\/p>\n

  1. Children\u2019s learning is understood developmentally<\/li>\n
  2. The classroom offers a safe base<\/li>\n
  3. The importance of nurture for the development of wellbeing<\/li>\n
  4. Language is a vital means of communication<\/li>\n
  5. All behaviour is communication<\/li>\n
  6. The importance of transition in children\u2019s lives<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Our values of ready, respect and safe underpin our day to day approaches to nurturing all relationships in school.<\/p>\n
