Last Wednesday, 29th May, we welcomed the P7s from our cluster primary schools up to Bell Baxter for the day. The P7 pupils, supported by the S3 monitors, had the opportunity to get to know the school throughout the day as they participated in a number of activities – Trash Fashion Show, Treasure Hunt, LRC Escape Room and DofE activities.
This is only a small part of a transition programme which has run throughout the year; the P7s will visit us in June to follow their timetable for two days.
We hope that everyone had a good day and we are looking forward to you all joining us August!
Last week saw a number of our Sports Leaders work with P7 pupils from all of our cluster primary schools. This was a big event with nearly 300 P7 pupils joining us at Bell Baxter for the day’s activities.
Thank you to everyone who supported event. We hope all of our P7 enjoyed trying different activities.
There is less than one month left to apply for a place on the Sutton Trust’s Summer School running at the University of St Andrews between 30th June – 5th July. S5 pupils have the chance to experience life as a student at university.

Health & Wellbeing, Fife Active Schools and Technologies all contributed to a successful P7 Transition Event yesterday at the school.
Fifty of our young leaders delivered sessions – e.g. looking at branding, marketing, designing posters, participating in sport (gymnastics, handball, netball and basketball) – to P7 pupils from our cluster primary schools.
The event was led by fifty of our Young Leaders who delivered all of the sessions throughout the morning.
