We would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a “Merry Christmas” and send our best wishes to all for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2019!
‘Thank you’ to our staff, community groups and partners for supporting the school and our pupils throughout the year.
Here’s a snapshot of what our pupils have been doing so far this session…..
Our String Group and Wind Band spent Tuesday afternoon at Stratheden Hospital performing Christmas Carols for the patients. The pupils did such a fantastic job that Santa himself made an appearance.
Thank you to everyone – Stratheden staff, Music Instructors, pupils and the patients – who helped to make this a very special occasion.
Mr C. McNicol
[Teacher, Expressive Arts]
The annual DAS Bell Baxter Christmas Fayre will be held in the Conference Room on Wednesday, 19th December. The event will run from 10am – 1.30pm and will feature a number of stalls hosted by some of our partners and school groups. There will be a silent auction, handmade gifts, a raffle and much more!
Entrance is free with tea, coffee and mince pies being served by pupils.
As you will be aware, our consultation on the “Walked Routes to Schools – Assessment Policy” is running from Tuesday, 13th November – Friday, 14th December.
The elected members, at the committee on 6th November, specifically asked the Education Service to ensure that pupils have an opportunity to take part in the consultation.
We have devised the following pupil consultation which should be shared widely with pupils. The pupil survey can be accessed at home using the link below.
Well done to everyone who took part in the ‘Cupar at Christmas’ concert held in St John’s Church last night. Our own pupils performed alongside local nurseries, primary schools, Kilmaron and Cupar Youth Café.
