Our Eco Group have created some posters for “The final straw” campaign running within the community. The campaign aims to encourage local businesses to replace their non-recyclable plastic straws with new sustainable straws.
Jill Dawson, Plastic Group Coordinator said, “We were pleased to receive graphic art support from Bell Baxter pupils. They have shown a real interest in the environment and want to make a difference. We are grateful to Ms Pour and her pupils for the colourful posters and to Cupar’s caterers by demonstrating their support by reducing plastic waste.”
We would like to take the opportunity to ‘thank’ Sustainable Cupar for enabling our pupils to become involved with this campaign.
Photographs were provided by Simon Baldwin, CuparNow.
As part of the continuing partnership with local organisations, our musicians spent Thursday afternoon performing for the residents of Stratheden Hopsital.
Thank you to everyone who made the musicians feel so welcome during their performance.
We would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a “Merry Christmas” and send our best wishes to all for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2019!
‘Thank you’ to our staff, community groups and partners for supporting the school and our pupils throughout the year.
Here’s a snapshot of what our pupils have been doing so far this session…..
Our String Group and Wind Band spent Tuesday afternoon at Stratheden Hospital performing Christmas Carols for the patients. The pupils did such a fantastic job that Santa himself made an appearance.
Thank you to everyone – Stratheden staff, Music Instructors, pupils and the patients – who helped to make this a very special occasion.
