Important Health & Safety Message Concerning Aerosol Cans

We have a very clear responsibility in school to protect the wellbeing & health of all learners. I am asking you to support us in advising your child not to bring aerosol sprays into school. We have a number of learners who suffer from asthma and an individual who, in addition to asthma, also has a serious allergy which can be triggered by the chemicals in aerosol cans. I will be sharing this message at assemblies so that everyone understands why aerosols must not be used in school.

The misuse of aerosol cans will be treated as a serious health & safety issue.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Study Leave to begin

Study Leave for our senior learners (S4-S6) begins on Monday, 30th April and runs until Wednesday, 6th June.

Learners are only required to be in school for the time of their exam, therefore, you will probably be aware of a number of youngsters in and around the community travelling during the school day.  I thought it would be helpful for the wider school community to be aware of this.

Our learners and staff have been working very hard and we wish them every success in their exams.
