New generation of legal eagles

Susan Henretty and Blair Duncan, both Blackadders Solicitors, spoke to S5 and S6 pupils yesterday about careers in the legal profession. Susan and Blair talked candidly about their work and the possible avenues open to pupils who aim to work as solicitors.

Mr Duncan would like to ‘thank’ Blair and Susan for taking the time to speak to a future generation of solicitors.

Cricket Scotland: Past, present & future

Cricket Scotland launched a photographic exhibition located in Hampden Park, Glasgow.  The exhibition displays a range of cricket memorabilia re-telling the story of the game and its impact on life in Scotland.

One of the photographs in the exhibition shows a Bell Baxter HS cricket side from 1972(?).  Do you know any of the “likely lads” featured in the photograph?

The display will run until May 2018 as part of the Sports Heritage Scotland series.
